The Magic Moving Game Box with Matt - Shadow of War & Wolfenstein 2

The new Lord of the Rings game Shadow of War is an amazingly fun and beautiful game that you can play for hours and not even realize it. I have put in at least 50 hours so far and don't believe I am even close to being done.

The game features a nemesis system that is outstanding and full of surprises. You can kill a captain of the orc army only for him to be resurrected and come back as more machine than orc. Resurrected enemies will hunt you down unmercifully and are much harder to kill, but killing them again will provide you much better item drops when you slay them. I once had an orc resurrected 5 times who was basically a robot orc with a flamethrower on the final go around. I give Shadow of War a 9 out of 10 and highly recommend playing this gem.

Recently, I also completed Wolfenstein 2 the New Colossus. Picking up where the first Wolfenstein left off you resume the role of BJ Blazkovitz and go after the Nazi war machine that has taken over the USA in this alternative take of post WW2.

If you have ever played a first person shooter, you know what to expect from this game. While this game has an engaging story, I was disappointed with the rather short amount of gameplay, which clocked in at a rather scant 10 hours. Be aware, this game does not include online multiplayer to beef up value.

Overall, though I would give Wolfenstein 2 a 7 out of 10.

The Magic Moving Game Box - The Top 10 List by Matthew

There have been many great games throughout video game history, as well as many truly awful games. Today I am going to give you a list of my top ten favorite games of all time. Some you will probably agree with instantly and others you may question what I’m thinking. These games will not be limited to one genre or gaming system. 10. Super Mario Bros 3 NES This game in my opinion is probably the best game period for the NES. This game introduced the save system to the Mario games and included many new items for Mario to accessorize with. Who here did not absolutely love the Tanooki Suit. This game is also notable for introducing the Koopa Kids into the Mario games. 9. The Magic Moving Game Box - Battlechasers Nightwar & WWE2K18

So for our first blog I'm going to review two very different games this time. One is a turn based role playing game based on a long forgotten comic property and the other is the newest yearly  installment of men in tights fighting over belts. First up is Battlechasers Nightwar. This game is based on the comic from Joe Madureira. This is an all new story so you do not to have to have read the comic to enjoy this game. The combat is turn based and offers each a wide variety of moves and abilities for all of the five characters that you can play as. The one downside to the game is the grind of having to level up your characters with battling repeative enemies before starting the next dungeon. Overall I give the game a seven out of ten. Next up is WWE2K18. The game boasts the largest roster ever of any Wwe game. In fact the roster is so large it is almost overwhelming.
